My reaction to Climate Camp…

I decided to go to Climate Camp simply because I feel strongly about climate change. I wanted to be part of the demonstration and meet likeminded people. I didn’t expect to be surprised or even affected by what I found at Blackheath. (more…)
Liberation camp

The Camp for Climate Action describes itself as ‘a fast-growing grassroots movement of diverse people taking action on climate change’. This year’s Camp in Blackheath was the first I attended. I have written the following article to give a personal and hopefully interesting account of the four goals of the camp: to demonstrate sustainable living, to provide and share education on the myriad issues regarding climate change, to take action protecting and shaping the future of the planet and to build this movement across communities and the world itself.
