Hello.

Hello to everyone who reads this.
This is my first blog entry - I hope that it will be of interest.
I have given a fair bit of thought to what I should write about - and I’ve compiled a list of bullet points concerning some subjects (I think it unlikely that all those subjects will feature in this particular blog entry - it is more of a general list which I hope will last for many blog entries).
I’ve found it incredibly difficult to know where exactly to start. I have chosen to introduce myself and what might come in terms of my blog posts - so; here goes:
I am a twenty year old Undergraduate University student, studying Philosophy, Politics and a Unit in History. I am in my first year at Manchester Metropolitan University. I would describe myself as a conscientious and considerate person (I am a Vegan, and I show concern for people, non-human animals, and the environment). I have done voluntary work in the past, but have never found any such work which has been quite suited to me (until now, that is!) Having a blog to write in is incredibly suited to me - as I very much enjoy writing (I write songs, I write down some of my dreaming and my interpretation of such dreaming, I write daily occurrences). I feel it natural for me to write, and I hope to be thought-provoking, and I also hope to provide an account of life, which I hope will be passed on to future generations.
I mentioned in the above paragraph that I wish for my writing to be thought-provoking; I also like ambiguity in my writing (though I do not know whether or not I will intentionally use ambiguity in my blog posts); I intend to write blog posts which are idealistic in their theory (i.e. how I would like the world to be, and my justifications and arguments to support my theory). I am sorry to say that I feel as if the world is far from perfect, and could do with a considerable amount of improvement.
I hope this has been of interest.
Robert
