Interpreting Lyrics
Monday,14 December 2009 by RobertSutton
Hello again.
Below are some song lyrics I wrote - I would be very interested to see people’s interpretations of them:
Verse 1 (Vocals & Guitar)
Hello home – I’m back! How have you been? You’re a friend of mine. I’ve been ill ever since I left you. Is my old bedroom purple especially for me? And is that pillar really there? If it is – perhaps it represents foundation and stability. //
Verse 2 (Vocals & Guitar)
One time – I flew from upstairs to downstairs. Another time – someone I knew – and still know walked over the television screen in the lounge. Another time – there were dogs and fire in the kitchen. Another time – I attempted to hide in the kitchen – using chairs; I was hiding from danger. //
Verse 3 (Vocals & Guitar) OPTIONAL
Home – please provide me again with comfort, and safety – I fear the outside world! I want a place to hide! I live in both a house and another place – the other place is good enough for me to cope with – thanks to the people who live there with me. //
Enjoy time!
Robert
